Getting Started

Install and activate the plugin
Go to SEOAuto > Settings
Enter your API key from your SEOAuto dashboard

What the service does

The SEOAuto API is required to:
* Validate your API key and authenticate your WordPress site
* Receive AI-generated article content for publishing
* Synchronize article status between SEOAuto and WordPress
* Confirm successful publication of articles

Data transmitted

The following data is sent to the SEOAuto API:
* Your WordPress site URL (to identify your site)
* WordPress version (for compatibility checks)
* PHP version (for compatibility checks)
* Plugin version (for compatibility checks)
* API key (for authentication)
* Article publication status and WordPress post IDs (to sync content)

Data is transmitted:
* When you connect the plugin using your API key
* During automatic or manual article synchronization

Installation

Automatic Installation

Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress dashboard
Search for “SEOAuto AI Content Publisher”
Click “Install Now” and then “Activate”
Navigate to SEOAuto > Settings to configure

Manual Installation

Download the plugin ZIP file
Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
Upload the ZIP file and click “Install Now”
Activate the plugin
Navigate to SEOAuto > Settings to configure

FAQ

Where do I get my API key?: Your API key is available in your SEOAuto dashboard under Settings > WordPress Integration. If you don’t have a SEOAuto account, visit seoauto.io to sign up.
What happens to my articles if I deactivate the plugin?: Your published articles remain on your WordPress site. Deactivating the plugin only stops the sync with SEOAuto.
Can I edit articles after they’re published?: Articles are protected by default to prevent accidental changes. You can edit them in your SEOAuto dashboard, and changes will sync to WordPress.
How often does the plugin sync?: By default, the plugin syncs every hour. You can change this in Settings > Advanced to hourly, twice daily, or daily.
Does this work with multisite?: Currently, the plugin is designed for single-site WordPress installations. Multisite support is planned for a future release.
What if the featured image fails to download?: The article will still be published, but without a featured image. Check the SEOAuto dashboard for the original image URL and manually add it if needed.
