DropUI – Popups, WhatsApp and Marketing Automation

Description

Engage WordPress visitors

DropUI helps you engage WordPress visitors while they browse and after they leave. It lets you create popups, bars, embedded forms, Feed, web push notifications, and WhatsApp campaigns from one dashboard.

DropUI helps you make better use of the traffic already coming to your site: collect contacts, show relevant messages, and follow up with visitors after their visit ends.

On any WordPress website, you can promote offers and content, show messages to selected visitor groups, and measure campaign results without editing your theme or site code. WooCommerce adds an extra layer of personalization for stores, including product, category, variation, coupon, cart, free-shipping threshold, and checkout-stage data.

A DropUI account is required to create, publish, and analyze campaigns. A free plan is available.

What can you do with DropUI?

  • Collect contacts and marketing opt-ins with popups and embedded forms.
  • Promote offers, content, events, and important announcements on any WordPress website.
  • Show targeted popups, bars, and embedded content based on the page, traffic source, device, visitor behavior, and exit intent.
  • Bring visitors back after their session with web push notifications or WhatsApp.
  • Personalize communication for new and returning visitors.
  • In WooCommerce, increase cart value, recommend products, and encourage shoppers to complete checkout or return to an abandoned cart.
  • Measure impressions, clicks, conversions, and A/B test results.

Communication channels

  • Popup – show offers, forms, and messages based on the page and visitor behavior.
  • Bar – highlight promotions, announcements, limited-time offers, and free-shipping thresholds.
  • Embed – place forms, recommendations, and offers in selected areas of your website.
  • Feed – add an onsite panel where visitors can return to current offers, updates, and recommendations while browsing.
  • Web push – remind visitors about new content, offers, events, and unfinished actions after they leave.
  • WhatsApp – send offers and reminders, then continue the conversation when a customer replies.

Display rules and personalization

In DropUI Builder, you can decide who sees a campaign, where it appears, when it is triggered, and how often a visitor sees it.

Campaigns can respond to:

  • the current page or WordPress content type,
  • a visitor’s first or repeat visit,
  • onsite behavior, including exit intent,
  • device, language, traffic source, and UTM parameters,
  • user login status,
  • schedules, display delays, and frequency limits.

If you use WooCommerce, campaigns can also take into account the product, category, tag, variation, coupon, cart contents, cart value, free-shipping threshold, and checkout stage.

Creating campaigns

You can build a campaign from scratch, use a prebuilt e-commerce scenario, or describe your goal to the AI Assistant. Scenarios are especially useful for WooCommerce stores, and the Assistant can suggest copy, layout, and calls to action.

Paid plans include support from an onboarding specialist for configuring DropUI, publishing your first campaigns, and reviewing results.

How to get started

  1. Install and activate the DropUI plugin.
  2. Connect your WordPress website to your DropUI account.
  3. Choose an e-commerce scenario, use the AI Assistant, or create your own campaign.
  4. Set the audience and display rules.
  5. Publish the campaign and analyze the results.

Compatibility

The plugin requires WordPress 6.3 or newer and PHP 7.4 or newer.

The plugin has been tested up to WordPress 7.0.

In a WordPress Multisite network, each site connects to DropUI independently and has its own configuration and campaigns.

External Service

This plugin connects your WordPress website to DropUI, an external online service. A DropUI account is required to create, publish, and analyze campaigns.

Service provider:
E-TRADE SOLUTIONS Sp. z o.o.

When the administrator starts the connection process, the plugin sends information required to identify and connect the WordPress website, including:

  • a unique site identifier,
  • the WordPress site name,
  • the site URL,
  • the connection callback URL,
  • the WordPress administrator email address,
  • the platform identifier,
  • information about whether the site already has an authentication secret.

For authenticated actions such as signing in to DropUI or disconnecting the site, the plugin sends a signed request containing the site identifier, requested action, timestamp, nonce value, and cryptographic signature.

After the site is connected, the service may process information needed to select, display, and measure campaigns, including:

  • the URL of the visited page,
  • campaign identifiers,
  • impressions, clicks, and conversions,
  • device, language, and traffic-source information,
  • user behavior related to a campaign,
  • information voluntarily submitted through forms, such as an email address or phone number.

If the website uses WooCommerce, the processed context may also include product, category, variation, coupon, cart contents, cart value, and checkout stage.

The exact scope of processed information depends on the website configuration, enabled features, and active campaigns.

The plugin does not connect the site to DropUI until the administrator explicitly starts the connection process.
