Description
The plugin creates a shortcode [add_to_cart_by_product] which can be used in the editor area of any WooCommerce product. It will then render the default WooCommerce ‘add to cart’ button, but without the user needed to specify the product id.
Installation
Installing “Add to Cart by Product for WooCommerce” can be done either by searching for “Add to Cart by Product for WooCommerce” via the “Plugins > Add New” screen in your WordPress dashboard, or by using the following steps:
- Download the plugin via WordPress.org
- Upload the ZIP file through the ‘Plugins > Add New > Upload’ screen in your WordPress dashboard
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress

I tried this plugin out and without any need for configuration, it just works and does what it says it will do on the box. Simple, well written, and clean. Everything you could ask for in a shortcode plugin for WooCommerce.
