This plugin provides 2 blocks.

## Installation
1. Upload the `ratemate` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/` or install via **Plugins
Add New Upload Plugin**
2. Activate the plugin from **Plugins Installed Plugins**
3. Ensure WooCommerce is installed and active
4. Go to **RateMate Settings** to configure features
5. _(Optional)_ For AI features, add your free Anthropic API key under **Settings
AI Features**
## FAQ
### How do I show reviews on my homepage or any page?
Add the **RateMate Product Reviews** block in the editor (search “RateMate”), or
use the shortcode `[ratemate_product_reviews limit="6" layout="grid"]`. With no
product selected it shows the latest reviews from your whole store; pick a product
in the block settings (or set `product_id`) to show that product’s reviews.
### Can I add the star rating summary to my single-product template?
Yes. In the Site Editor, add the **RateMate Rating Summary** block to your Single
Product template and leave the product on “Current product”. Classic themes can
use `[ratemate_rating_summary]` on a product page.
### Does RateMate replace the default WooCommerce review system?
No. RateMate enhances and extends the WooCommerce review system — it does not replace
it. All existing reviews are preserved. You can disable individual features from
Settings.
### Do I need an API key for the AI features?
Yes. AI Review Summary and AI Sentiment Badge require a free Anthropic API key.
Get one at console.anthropic.com. The cost is less than $0.01 per product summary
and about $0.0002 per review sentiment analysis. Your key is stored encrypted in
your database.
### Will review request emails be sent for old orders?
No. Emails are only queued for orders that transition to “Completed” after the plugin
is activated.
### Can customers upload multiple photos per review?
Yes. You can configure the maximum number of uploads (1–20) and the maximum file
size per upload in **RateMate Settings Photo Reviews**.
### Does the plugin work with variable products?
Yes. RateMate is fully compatible with WooCommerce variable products, grouped products,
and all standard product types.
### Is RateMate compatible with WooCommerce HPOS?
Yes. RateMate declares full compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order
Storage (HPOS / custom order tables).
### Where are uploaded review photos stored?
Photos and videos are stored in your WordPress Media Library — the same place as
all other media uploads. They are associated with the product post.
### Can I import reviews from Judge.me or AliExpress?
Yes. Go to **RateMate Import / Export** and upload your CSV file. RateMate auto-
detects Judge.me and AliExpress CSV formats.
### How do I analyse existing reviews with the AI Sentiment Badge?
Go to **RateMate Settings AI Features**, enable Sentiment Badge, then click “Analyse
existing reviews”. New reviews are tagged automatically as they are approved.
### Is the plugin translation-ready?
Yes. All strings are wrapped in standard WordPress translation functions and a `.
pot` file is included in the `languages/` folder.
