Description

The Privacy Policy Genius allows you to input information about your company and its data protection and handling practices, and creates a privacy policy customized to your answers. Where is data stored? What safeguards are in place? This Plugin allows you to create a privacy policy for your users in less than 10 minutes.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory or install via the Add New Plugin menu
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress
  3. Create a “New Post” or “New Page” through your WordPress Dashboard
  4. Enter the shortcode in the visual or text editor, exactly as written below:
    [privacy_policy]

  5. Privately publish the post or page. This can be done through selecting the “Private” option under “Visibility”

  6. Click on the peramlink which should direct you to a private post on your website. The form should appear.
  7. Complete the form, click Proceed. The following page is your custom Privacy Policy. You may copy the text and post it as your website’s Privacy Policy.

    No. This is a free policy template that takes into account the data protection requirements and best practices, as well as providing notification to users regarding a websites’ personal information handling practices, created by privacy experts. However, the policy is not a legal document – please consult a lawyer if necessary.

    A Privacy Policy (or “Privacy Statement” or “Privacy Notice”) notifies users of an organization’s personal information handling practices. It is intended to disclose how the organization collects, uses, stores, transfers, and disposes of personal information, along with how it obtains consent and how users can access said information. Privacy Policies are a legal requirement in certain countries.

    It is recommended that site visitors be able to find your organization’s Privacy Policy through a link on the website home page. This is often found at the bottom of the front page.

Could not activate. Got this error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home2/bootleg/public_html/happyman/wp-content/plugins/policy-genius/plugin.php on line 13 And since I could not activate, I tried to delete it. And got this error: Deletion failed: Internal Server Error Very Sad.

Took me about 5 minutes to get a professional privacy policy on my e-commerce site with this plugin with the shortcode, just had to input a few answers regarding my business. Good plugin.
