Description

This plugin will install a Meta Pixel for your page so you can capture the actions people take when they interact with your page, such as Lead, ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase events. It also includes support for the Conversions API.

You’ll be able to see when customers took an action after seeing your ad on Facebook and Instagram, which can help you with retargeting. And when you use the Conversions API alongside the Pixel, it creates a more reliable connection that helps the delivery system decrease your costs. Learn More

Installation

To install from your WordPress site
1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click Add New.
2. In the search field, type ‘Facebook for WordPress’ and click ‘Search Plugins’. Select the plugin authored by ‘Facebook’. You can install it by simply clicking ‘Install Now’.

Configure plugin for first use
After plugin installed:
1. Go to settings page of the plugin.
2. Click Get Started.
3. Complete the Facebook Business Extension flow.
4. Agree to share your access token with your site.

Enable sending events via conversion API
You must complete the Facebook Business Extension flow before enabling sending events via conversions API.
1. Go to settings page of the plugin.
2. Under, Meta Advanced Configuration, toggle the checkbox to enable/disable send website events to Meta using Conversions API

If I could give it zero stars I would. I installed it on my site and my site went down. Fixed that problem and decided to give it one more go. Went to link it to my account and then my account got permanently restricted for "unusual activity". Finally deleted it and went with a different solution. This plugin needs to be removed from the store as it is malicious and causes nothing but problems. Whoever wrote the code is a complete moron.

There's one issue after the next with this plugin and some have existed for years with no fix, for example when redirecting after a gravity form submission. The issue is not with gravity forms it's with their plugin.

Meta platforms have a tendency to never be 100% working. They change features frequently and it's hard to guarantee that this plugin will always work, but it generally delivers what it promises and is easier to use than PixelMySite, for example.

Like the title says, when this plugin is active, it conflicts with Gravity Forms and prevents the plugin from directing the user to a "thank you" page or similar redirection. FWIW this issue only seems to occur on mobile (tested on Android/Chrome). The issue did not occur on Windows/Chrome desktop.

Plugin has conflicts with Gravity Form. Tested and isolated it to this specific plugin as the issue.Poorly coded, not supported with updates to WP either. Abandoned support on WP plugin directory. Do not use this plugin.
