MM Maintenance redirect to page

Unlike other “maintenance mode” plugins, this plugin lets you redirect visitors to one of your existing pages (no need to edit a maintenance template to make it look like your website).

Works perfectly. Create a sweet page in your template. Avada, Jupiter, Bridge, whatever. And point this plugin to that page and viola! a picture perfect maintenance page!

This plugin deserves a prize for being simple and effective. Only 2 fields to fill out, plus your own "under construction" page. I installed and then un-installed 4 other plugins, each of them doing an ok job and providing lots of unnecessary features. Most of these plugins limit what you can display and where any text is displayed. Simple and fast - what more do you want?

It's all I need with a simple solution. There's a bunch of Maintenance Mode plugins available with tons of useless features. This one redirects to a page that I want e that's great.

There's a major bug in this plugin - When you activate the maintenance mode, you as the developer cannot view your site. So, how are you supposed to be able to check your amendments as you do them? Also, would be more useful if it allowed you to redirect visitors to a URL, rather than a page on your website. Or, perhaps, if it gave you both options. In my case, I already have an HTML page set up for "under maintenance" situations and I'd like to use that. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Other people might want to redirect visitors to their Facebook page, while their site is under maintenance. Personally, I cannot see why anyone would want to redirect visitors to another WP page on their site, during "under maintenance" situations.
