ICP Registration Home 404 is a lightweight WordPress plugin designed specifically for websites during the ICP filing/registration period.
After enabling:
* Unauthenticated visitors will receive a 404 response when accessing the homepage
* Logged-in administrators can still access the homepage normally
* Effectively meets access restriction requirements during the ICP review process
The plugin provides:
* Admin settings page
* One-click enable / disable
* Quick links to usage tutorials, VPS recommendations, and native IP recommendations
* Does not affect themes or other pages
Compatible with WordPress themes and custom themes.

Usage
- Open the plugin settings page
- Check “Enable homepage hiding”
- Save settings
- Unauthenticated visitors will receive a 404 response on the homepage
Logged-in administrators can still access the homepage for content management.

Installation
- Download and extract the plugin
- Upload the
icp-404-homedirectory to/wp-content/plugins/ - Go to WordPress Admin Plugins Activate ICP Registration Home 404
- Navigate to
Settings ICP Registration Home 404to configure

Will this affect search engines?

The plugin is intended for temporary use during ICP registration. Simply disable it after approval.

Will it affect the admin area or other pages?

No. It only affects the homepage (
is_home) for unauthenticated users. -
Is cache/CDN supported?

Cache headers are disabled. If you are using a CDN, it is recommended to disable homepage caching during ICP registration.
